it has been a reasonably pleasant labor day, despite my horrible old navy experience of last night (and despite steve irwin's untimely demise, which seems to be bumming out a lot of folks in these parts) AND despite my daughter's minor illness (she was running a fever this morning, no biggie... it meant that she was't as active, a guilty plus.
