My left contact lens just re-emerged after disappearing somewhere in my eye several hours ago. It meandered back onto my pupil so casually, it's almost maddening. It's like a cat that slips off at night and then skulks home nonchalantly the next morning after everyone spends half the night looking for it. Where have you been?? It ain't telling.

Next time that happens pull your lid over your open eye a few times. That should loosen it up and out.

Yikes! That's like the scariest thing I can imagine happening. Well, that and a giant ant attack.

Or, worse yet, a giant ant getting lost in your eye!

I once blinked, and a tiny bug lodged in my eyelid. Couldn't get it out for hours, yet I knew it was there, I could feel it. Finally my dad fished it out somehow. Damn bug.

Yikes. Having someone fish it out of your eyelid sounds possibly worse than leaving it to live and breed in there. :(
