I don't agree with Carol killing Karen and the other dude. The flu virus is in the air, as evident by the pig dieing and the walkers at the fence with bloody eyes indicating their human selves died from it. Patrick was around everyone before he started showing symptoms. There was zero containing it the moment the first person got sick.

I don't think I would've cast Carol out as Rick did tho. But, like you said, it probably saved her life. If Tyresse found out, he'd kill her. Perhaps that knowledge affected Rick's decision as well.

I understand why Carol killed them given the information she had at the time. Can't say I agree with it. She didn't know it couldn't be contained, and in her eyes she viewed it as a mercy killing. But wow, to make that decision and carry it through? She certainly isn't the Carol of the first season.

I'd like to think Carol's future affected Rick's decision.

I do wonder how Daryl is going to take it.

Do you know if we're going to be seeing Carol's story going forward? If not, I'm going to miss her. Great character!

I don't agree with Carol playing God like she did under those circumstances... she didn't have enough facts and I feel acted too emotionally which is pretty much what she denied doing. I completely understand her decision though too, working with the info she had (which she must've felt was enough). I'll be curious to see what Rick tells the others.

LOL, my hubs made the same comment about the toilet paper ;)

I don't. I rarely catch anything on line regarding the shows I watch. But I hope she isn't out forever. Her evolution has been an interesting one and I'd like to see more.

I think Carol was scared silly. She may have called it logical, whatever, but she was afraid for the group. So while I can't condone what she did, I understand where she was coming from.

What is Rick going to tell the others? How is Daryl going to take it?

Shampoo and conditioner too. I'd snag that. Now to fix the self-correcting toilette to toilet. Computer wants to be fancy.:)

Hubs brought up Daryl too ;)

I really do hope we get her story the way we did Andrea's when she was separated from the group.

I hadn't even gone there. Would love this! Her evolution has been such an interesting one.

Side note: I'm all for raiding places for medicine, but I'm pretty sure I'd be going after the toilet paper too.

OMG no kidding right? And tampons! Something! What are these poor women doing?

As you know, I tend to lean toward agreeing with Carol on this, simply because I think she did the right thing given the information that she had. I think it will probably really bother Rick that he kicked her out of the prison like that. I'm sure that it'll haunt him for a very long time to come, just at random moments even. I don't think he was malicious, and I do think that maybe he even thought that he was keeping her alive since he couldn't keep that secret for her, but he knew Tyrese would at least try to kill her.

And go Carol for not even kinda being afraid of Ty!!

Carol's pragmatism is one of the reasons I really enjoy her character. That and her competence. Her evolution has been so interesting from the first season.

I need to watch the ep again, but I wonder if some of her lack of fear is due to numbness at this point. I love how Melissa Mcbride is portraying Carol. She has all these layers, but keeps it all buttoned down. That moment she knocks over the water barrel only hints at what was buried there.

Hope to see more of Carol's story. She's too interesting of a character to lose.

Hasn't it though?! I'm completely excited by the character development and growth of Carol!

Hmm, you make a good point. She's been through so much and I think you're right - she's locked a lot of it down, trying to keep it out of the way so she can function and survive.

I really feel like we'll see Carol again. I can't imagine her just being gone like that.

I know that this post is not about last night's episode, but I'm giving props to Rick. I was really impressed by him in last night's episode.

Haven't seen last night's ep yet! *wails* Hope to catch it tonight.:)

Rick's evolution has been an interesting one too. I appreciate that they didn't make him 'I'm the leader' all the time leader. Gives the other characters a chance to step up.

Kind of digging Michonne and Daryl's relationship. I'm not shipping, but I like the how they interact.
