Why? What's wrong? Odd timing, because I threw out my back yesterday. Other than the excruciating pain, it's been a nice oportunity to sit around and do nothing, watch a few movies and read a few books.

I was taking the recycling downstairs (flight of 13). The cat was running upstairs. I tripped over the cat, sent the recycling flying, and followed after on my back. Thankfully, Chris hadn't left for work yet (woke up late) and took me to the hospital. Nothing broken or sprained...just really bruised and sore. The cat I tripped over is one of our new kittens, Duke. He wouldn't come anywhere near me when we got home. We've since kissed and made up. I had to lower myself to the floor to coax Duke out from under the bed...just to give a HUG! I'm so glad chris was here....right after the fall, I couldn't move, I couldn't breathe, couldn't speak.....he ran after me and all he was asking was "do I need to call 911..." I couldn't answer! eventually....I was able to make a moaning sound...but that was it. SCARY! But..I'm alive and fully functioning...slow...but functioning....and I got a day off work with Chris!
