So I survived the weekend with the girls over. Thank you Kate and Helen for a fantastic weekend, you were the perfect guests. I got to see parts of Devon I'd never been to before, and had a mad night out "dancing". The weather outside is frightful
Ah, my cold just won't go away, so I've had to retire from social engagements this weekend. I'm off to finish off my Christmas shopping tomorrow, hopefully it won't be too crazy in Dublin. -
Cattle after cats
Yes, the excitement never ends here at the McGlade Farm. No sooner has the cat been cleared with a clean bill of health (for now- I think we've gone through one a year for the last decade, we really shouldn't be left in charge of animals) than we've to test the cattle ( Read more... ) -

Meow
So, the cat got sent off for spaying yesterday. We were concerned that we were too late, that she was already pregnant with kittens again as her belly was plump. Turns out that that was because of worms, bleurgh! The anaesthetic also knocked out the worms and she may have started to digest them, which are toxic and may kill her, so we have to watch ( Read more... ) -
Nationwide Conference
As always it's been too long since I updated this. The past weekend was great- I went to Exeter, spent some quality time with Orla, she of the awesome-ness. We put up Christmas decorations, went to see Exeter City v Dagenham and Redbridge (result: 3-2, oh yeah!) and saw The Holiday (**). I'm at home with the cold today, he's bad company.
