Last night was the huge gathering of ladies for my mother-in-law's birthday. I felt bad that I was without a gift or card for her (or that Bob had not made it clear her actual birthday was earlier this month). But we're going to make sure she gets a whole bunch of plants for her garden this year...and that's something I'd be good at helping her

Glad you had a good time despite the bad waiter. I hate bad service. And good luck with the weaning. I can't imagine how hard that must be (Isaac slowly self weaned and one day, at 11 months, just quit).

so far so...not so bad. I was afraid of what would happen when Bob wasn't around to distract her from me because he had to go to work. She screamed a good half hour and then something did finally distract her :). Can't wait 'til naptime...the right boobie has seen better days :D
