October Holiday + Moon Cakes!

I have been meaning to give and explanation about having a week off .. so here it is. October 1st is my birthday .. but it is also National day in China. Pretty convenient if you ask me! October 6th is the moon festival. I'm still not exactly sure what that means but I think its similar to our Thanksgiving .. its a fall celebration of sorts

Hey Maria,

We got snow here 4 times yesterday and it actually stayed on the ground. I know it will probably melt today when the sun comes up, but I had to scrape it all off my car last night after work. Ahhh Waterloo!!! Glad to hear you're having such a great time.

Happy Moon Cake Festival!

I much prefer lotus paste with out the egg yolk... they are quite tasty. Yours look very interesting, I have never seen or had a Hagaan Daaz Moon Cake!
