Registered for classes, woo. Still at the community college because I failed a math class, but whatever. Gives me a semester to jerk around a little and work on some other stuff. Taking statistics, ceramics, percussion, concert chorale, and Spanish as a last-moment impulse. Should be an okay semester.

I found a small wasp nest just outside my sliding glass door, so I did what anyone would do and recorded a short video of the wasps being wasps. EXTREME WASP CLOSE-UPS YEEEEEEAAAHH

My computer's hard drive failed out of nowhere yesterday. This computer was only 6 months old. I have no idea what the hell I'm doing that destroys my computers so quickly. I've connected my laptop to my normal monitor and keyboard until I can get it fixed or get a new one, which won't be for a very long time, especially since I just bought a nice ( Read more... )

I'm still attempting to play a C above middle on any sort of consistent basis (I'm getting it about 30% of the time), but I have now graduated to playing simple exercises on my trumpet with pitch ranges from middle C to the G above it. My tone still sucks, and my range still more-than-sucks, but I'm pretty proud at my progress. Woo.

And now I want to keep honeybees.
