Canada C3 Expedition video application

Possible video application for the Canadian ocean expedition. They want to know my name, interests, passions, and why participating is important to me. They are looking for enthusiastic people. Think I qualify? I hope I qualify.

Camera set too low, should be closer to nose-level.
You come across really anxious in the video, moving, adjusting, etc.
I would avoid the word "desperately," and be careful about calling it a "trip" (at end) because they probably see this as serious business.
The credentials list is hard to consume in video format, especially since a lot of that i assume you already have on paper.

When selecting what to say, consider: What would be valuable to them about you? What makes you more interesting than the other candidates?

It's hard to "be engaged" with an abstract correspondent on the other end of a video camera. Congratulations on attacking the problem though, and your ambition

I liked the enthusiasm "surge" at the end. It gives the video more of the quality of experiencing who you are, rather than being told. I hope that they accept your application and that this trip exceeds your expectations. I think you've got a lot to offer these people. It sounds like a cool, fun thing.
