Sunday:  Dan had told me that we were going out of town, but he was keeping the destination a surprise.  I had some suspicions, but the “hints” he gave me kept making me second guess it.  We arrived in Napa for a wonderful weekend together.

Monday Dany and I were able to sleep in, which was very needed for the both of us.  Once we pulled ourselves out of bed we went to the Edgefield for a nice lunch and some wine tasting.  The property is huge and has lots of neat little areas.  We hung out in the tasting room for quite awhile and tried a large selection.  I ended up purchasing 8 ( Read more... )

Wow!  Guns n Roses is playing at the Oakland arena!!!! 

Well, the shop thought they'd be done today but when they installed the new door trim they discovered it was broken. They are ordering a new one from Honda and it should be ready by Tuesday.

Yesterday Dan and I booked our cruise! We are taking a Carnival Cruise to the Western Caribbean with stops in Belize, Costa Maya, Cayman Islands, and Cozumel. I can't wait! We are going to book some excursions today and they all look like so much fun. Definitely a stop at the Mayan Ruins, and there's one involving inner tubing through a cave. ( Read more... )

A coworker of mine had a gift certificate for three spa visits that she couldn't use so she passed them along to me. I just took advantage of my first one. It was for a basic facial, which they let you upgrade if you'd like. Of course most people do and this is where they get there money, but it was well worth it.
