Well, Avatar was certainly awesome. Except for the plot. Yeah. About that. Not only was it Pocahontas with aliens, but it was way predictable. But the CGI was fantastic (WETA doesn't do good, or even great, with them it's always friggin awesome :P) and the world-building was actually really original and fascinating.
