I was always "the skinny girl". Even at nine months pregnant I never went over 120 pounds. And I lost the baby weight immediately. So immediately that I actually wore normal clothes home from the hospital. I get all of these feelings. I often ask myself which god I should try sacrificing to, or if I have some kind of secret tumor ruining myself that I don't know about. I hope you find all of the answers to what is going on. <3 And I hope you find a way back to feeling like you again.

WOW this hit me so hard thank you. All my life, ALL my life, I have struggled with weight issues and now in the last ten years since I quit smoking I have gained another hundred pounds. It is really good to read this piece and feel the narrator's pain. Thank you for putting it out here for us.

This is so tough! I used to be eternally skinny too. But no. Not eternally. Not skinny anymore. I'm pretty fit now, but if I could drop weight. . . But I love some of my terrible eating habits.

The link between psychology/brain and the gut; once we figure that out we are going to make some amazing strides in medicine, I think. I hope you get answers and peace and health. Thank you for writing this.
