Yes, I sat at my Aunt' beach house and read a little bit, while watching tropical storm Debbie for a few days, and then watched my nephew the rest of the week. But, I have a review to share ( Read more... )

Ha, that's probably the ultimate in trashy beach novels to read on vacation. Hope you otherwise had a good time!

I saw the first book at MY MOTHER"S HOUSE.

I was so very very tempted to say: Mom, you know that book is simply published fanfiction? You know, the stuff you used to sneer at when I first stepped into fandom and was trying to explain what we discussed on the message boards? ("why does the character do something? because that's the way the show was written!")

And if you really want some hot fanfiction, let me point you to some good stuff on line?

Then I walked away and decided not to say anything. I don't think I'm up for telling my mother I write fanfiction.
