This week is all about decompressing. Last week was spent cleaning, cooking and crying. The funeral was surreal. I have no energy this week. We have been asked to help entertain my sister-in-laws in-laws when they come in tomorrow from Louisiana. She has met them once, this past January, at her husbands funeral. Okay the funeral is Friday. They are doing a burial first for family only then the memorial service for the friends and others. After that the church is having a dinner thing and then family/close friends will come to our house for a winding down. Our Nephew Brandon, that looks enough like Gana to be his brother, was found dead Wednesday night around midnight. The police notified his family last night (Thursday) at 9 pm. He would have been 25 in September. The cause is unknown until the autopsy is completed but they are saying natural causes for now. He was a great kid when he wanted to be. ( Read more... )

Today was the last day of daycamp AND WE BROKE A KID!!! during the 2nd hour of being there. The staff teaching large group games were playing capture the flag and one of the participants got broke. Tonight I quit my position as Camp director. Tomorrow I will be telling Dale of my decision. There has been a lot of crap going on behind my back by my program directors. If I could have stayed I would have but Craig would have had a fit. The cook they promoted was good and we had better meals then when Travis was head cook. Heading off for a week at Camp Grizzly. They still need a head cook and a handicrafts director.
