We had rain yesterday evening but I still had to water the hanging baskets today. We are forecast rain tomorrow. Can’t wait!!

Just settling into this series; a couple more episodes in season 1, then onto season 2. Will not read your post, however, 'cause I'm avoiding spoilers.

Read the most interesting book on the poisons scandal a couple of years ago, so when I saw this series, I added it to my watchlist. Thought it would be an expansion of that whole time frame.

It's fun, I think, though I feel terribly sorry for the poor queen.

Yes, we had spots of thundery rain too. And a little cooler, though nothing I wouldn't call summery, in any other year. I miss the Sunday before last, which was properly soggy. But that's been our one and only wet day in over two months.

Well, I think you're due some today. We certainly had a soaking this morning.

We had some rain last night but nowhere near enough. We were sitting in a pub garden and didn’t immediately go inside as the rain was such a novelty! It does, thankfully, feel a lot fresher here today as the heat of the last few days has been stifling.

That's good. It was actually quite chilly here last night. I had to shut the bedroom windows.
