Haven't had any 'net time this week until today, so while I have the chance I just want to say a quick word about Star Trek Discovery season 2.

I didn't read all that you wrote, just wanted to see if you liked it.

I was on the fence if I wanted to watch it, after season one being so mediocre and them butchering the Klingons.

But if it has your seal of approval, I'll watch it :)

I recommend it. Really I do. I really loved it, and I was pretty meh! about season 1 myself.

I'm personally a DS9 fanatic, but I was very pleased with Discovery S2 overall.

Pike and Spock were definite favorites for me in terms of casting. I was hoping to spend more time with Number One, but I'm sure Rebecca Romijn has a crazy schedule of her own.

I'm looking forward to seeing where they take Discovery next season, if it's shifting towards a new future.

I'm personally a DS9 fanatic

I like DS9 better than all the other later Trek series, but when it comes to sci-fi series set on space stations I much prefer Babylon Five.

I was hoping to spend more time with Number One, but I'm sure Rebecca Romijn has a crazy schedule of her own.

She was quite an intriguing character in The Cage way back in the 60s too, I thought.
