Can good be overshadowed by bad?

Let me start out by saying that yes, I am lonely. Let me also say that this is nothing new and find myself often feeling lonely. I don't consider this to be a very big deal. Hun...from what I know of mother's they are a strange and confusing group of humans. My mother and I constantly get in the same repetative fight about some of the things I do. It's down right rediculious. I'm not saying I know what you are going through, I'm just looking for the answer to the question why do mother's think it is there job to look out for what they think is our best interest?

I have also been dealing with a lot of issues with my mother. I am sorry that your mom gets on you about boys. My mom thinks every girl I talk to or like is a slut, unless they are dating someone already. We also deal with constant bitching about money. Sometimes people are just selfish and don't understand that doing a good thing for someone else, even if it doesn't seem worth it, could change the world. If everyone stopped doing kind things for other people all together, the world would be a terrible place to live. Your dad did something really nice, even if your mom doesn't think so. Maybe he should have told her, but I still think it was a good thing.

I hope you feel better. I know it is impossible for me most of the time, but try to let things roll off your back a little. If you need someone to talk to, give me a call.

I don't know why I am doing this but...here is what the Bible says:

"Christians should share their resources with those in need." Acts 2:42-45

"Christians should care for those who have no one to care for them." James 1:27

"Parents should not punish their children in a way that only frustrates them." Ephesians 6:4

"Money is only temporary." James 5:1-6

"Christ knows what it is like to be lonely." Mark 15:33-39

"Satan is the temporary ruler over this world." Ephesians 2:1-2
