It is a bit of a bummer, but you do have plenty of time so it's practically an upside! Or something.

And you are hardly alone in the 'don't know what you're doing after college' category. I hardly know what I'm doing (I figure either working or grad school...which isn't saying much) so I don't think you need to be worrying overly much. Though I have to say that a good internship type thing in an area you are considering seems to help a lot-you get a feel for what it's like without as much commitment as a job. The ones I've done have helped a lot anyway...
Also, there's the whole (at least at mudd) career office things/career fair/company presentations and such which seem to focus a lot on junior and seniors. Those are usually a bit slanted and don't quite show you what working will actually be like, but they are generally somewhat useful or informative.
