It's going to be busy at work this week so I'm going to do my weekend update now. This upcoming work week I have a meeting with the Office of Graduate Studies on TA waivers and funding, an admissions committee meeting, and the second phase of writing the course schedule for next fall opens. I'll be hopping all week long. :-)

I turned in the assessment for the PhD and Masters program for Asian Studies. It wasn't really that bad. I inputed most of the information last week. Yesterday I just moved the information around, cut and pasted, and made it look pretty. I think it was the cold and wet, being stuck indoors because I HATE the cold, and just feeling down. I was going over past relationships and friendships in my mind and I managed to depress myself. I bought a plane ticket last night to Madrid, Spain. I'm going to visit Harper in Austria and combine that with my wish to backpack across Europe. I meant to backpack across Europe when I was younger but I think I can manage. It's good and bad. I'm afraid I consider last night's meal for Anime night an utter failure. I was trying a honey fried chicken and it was just awful. As crazy as this sounds, I may try the recipe again. There was so much rain that working with Strider was not possible. The mud at the barn is incredible when it rains that much. I have to pull my boots up with my toes to stop them from getting stuck. I don't like that so I thought I would give Strider the weekend off. I would just laze around the house!

We watched a snippet from Invader Zim, Maison Ikkoku, Doctor Who, and Black Adder. We saved Doctor Who for clown_spawn and it was hysterical. We watched Doctor Who: The Talons of Weng-Chiang. My stomach still feels a bit... queasy but that is a vast improvement over Tuesday. I can eat food and keep it down. I also donated plasma last night. They do a mini physical everytime you donate. My temperature, protein levels, heart rate, etc. all checked out. I was a bit tired during donation but that was it. They will also test the plasma ( Read more... )
