[You know what else you might see, Squalo? A tall woman with some oddly familiar features who also among the zombies, but she's just walking around the city as if they aren't even there. She has a Gardevoir and a Meloetta doing all the dirty work for her, and in an elegant and graceful manner. Those zombies aren't getting anywhere near her. As for the weird kid, she just walks by him without so much as a second glance.]

[Well, the weird kid, glowing blue flames and all, passes her right by anyway. Squalo on the other hand is momentarily distracted from tracking him as he spots that tall figure over there... but. Wait. The boss is still at the Center, so that can't... Well, easy to find out.

He releases Sphyrna, who just charges through the horde carving a path for him to approach her at a run.]

[Ys isn't sure about this place- unfamiliar, multiple threats. He does know he is glad for his handgun and a deserted alleyway to hide in. There are five bullets in his gun and ten in his pocket. Just enough, perhaps, to make his way through.

Back pressed against the wall, he surveys the area around the corner by the reflection on his gun. The image is somewhat distorted, but manageable enough to count targets. A heartbeat later he turns, rests his shoulder against the corner and aims-- and sees someone familiar amongst the enemy. Freeze; dart back behind the wall.

Kite tilted his head, stopped his floating, and made his way over to the alleyway in determined though heavy-sounding strides, his breathing as always rasping quietly.]

[Kite doesn't do much to acknowledge the gun at all. Whether or not it'll hit him, even at this distance, is questionable. Not that Ys would necessarily know that.

[Kite turns, faces Ovan. He's not in a hurry now, doesn't see why he should be. He knows the 8th Phase has been lost, he knows Cubia has been vanquished for the time being, The World more or less restored. His sword has been given to the new hero, and there no longer seems to be any need to hunt this man.

But that was because he was gone. Why is Ovan here?
Unable to speak, Kite lowers his head, cautious, though not hostile yet. Watching, as always.]
