I have a set of reactions that I know are related to eating gluten. I am having the same sorts of reactions to eating corn. I'm not sure about corn syrup but I am going to avoid all forms of corn and then re-introduce it as a test.
When I did this with milk products I reacted quite violently to it. I have milk products now, but infrequently and usually as aged cheese, which has the least amount of lactose. If I have ice cream I take allergy medicine and lactose enzyme and usually do OK.

Not sure I will be able to do that with corn.
