It's primal so you'll have to doublecheck if it fits your personal diet...probably though. Anyway, it really does have a bread-like texture, but it does use almond flour/meal, if you didn't like that. If you have a food processor, you can make your own almond meal with good quality almonds if those are easier to find than good quality almond meal.
It's not in the directions, but I mix the dry ingredients first, mash in the oil/butter, and then add the eggs.
It looks good, but I like bread with a soft texture. Also since it looks like I will be going on the AIP, I wouldn't be able to have nuts or seeds.
I have some poi powder left from when I went to Hawaii; I might try that. It will be interesting because if it tastes like cardboard, it'll be the right color.
