I'm not going to tell you that your feelings are unimportant or meaningless. I'm not going to tell you to "just get over it and let it go." Whereas that might be the ideal method of dealing with body image while going off into a new place - I can tell you from experience: it's not going to follow out that way. I wish I could tell you that it will all be fine. And I don't know if it helps at all...but I think you're beautiful. Always have. You have a style that few people have - and great hair, I must say. But me telling you these things is just a quarter of the battle. I went through this everyday of 9-12 grade. Unlike most everyone at Parkhill and Pearce, I didn't grow up with you. I left the people I had known since I was born - the people who knew who I really was, the people who didn't care what I looked like. Ok now what did we learn about those "barbie dolls" that dye their hair platinum blonde?! They are dirty and from J.Springer!heh! ok just a quick comment....first of look at me...ok enough said! but remember college is nothing like high school. you dont see the same ppl everyday and you know like maybe 1/460298346 of the ppl...first sem was my depression stage of fun, so feel free to call or whatever if you need to talk! smile! :D
