I moved out the very last of my items from my old apartment on the 15th, and left a key with a maintenance guy who's been working with my landlord for a long time, since my landlord had decided to duck out, possibly to avoid questions about the security deposit, which I didn't expect to get back anyway. Last night I wanted to see the Pink Floyd cover band Childhood's End, but I had too many things to take care of before the show, and would have had to seriously exceed the speed limit to show up even 1/2 an hour late for the show, so I decided to abort the trip, rather than risk a speeding ticket and/or an accident ( Read more... )

My day was okay. My father and I moved most of the last of my belongings from my old apartment. Almost everything that's left is a cleaning item of some sort. I'll do a bare bones cleaning sometime this weekend. I'd do more, but two out of three drains are plugged.
