There was a field, there was wood, tents, and rope. I helped rope together some of the arena. I watched meteorites cross the milky way and gave an impromptu astronomy lesson. I found a bruise that had nothing to do with helping on my arm. I watched makeshift wasp traps be set up and incense burned and first aid smoked out. I helped in GOD with some ( Read more... )

I did that too! My whole weekend was run by the banners and the fights. Felt like I was hardly ever out of the place, though I'm pretty sure I spent less than 2 hours inside it.

The bit of Saturday afternoon that I went back to the first aid post for to give other green hats an opportunity to go see (they didn't really fancy it) was rubbish and incredibly boring. I loved the arena. I miss it. I've spent all this week missing the field and watching the fights and helping with banners and shouting at silly physicians.
