I just found out that Rebirth Brass Band will be performing at the Howlin' Wolf for our private work Christmas party. AND we will have a taco truck outside just for us. How cool is that? God I love my job!

Today is the last day of my oh so boring vacation. I'm not looking forward to going back to work, except for that whole money thing. We are soooo broke right now, esp after buying our plane tickets to CO. Having 8 days off with no money to spend makes for a really boring week. Grrr...

I'm so fucking tired of being sick! I have been sick, off and on, for weeks now. I even had to miss my work christmas party because I was running a fever. I haven't been able to see anyone, or have any fun, or even get my christmas shopping done.

They took my grandmother off of life support today. She passed away at 7:47 this evening.

Well, my Aunt Kay gets into town sometime tomorrow to decide if we are taking my grandmother off of life support. Luckily she sounded sane when my father talked to her yesterday. Hopefully she can make it through this visit over unfortunate circumstances without having a breakdown and making this even worse on the rest of us. I love her, but I can' ( Read more... )
