I managed to get through the two week training course.. the three tests, presentations, and final exam with above an 80% average! That means I get to keep the job! And as of tomorrow I'll be making $12/hr! It's the most I've ever made in any job, so it's exciting to say the least ( Read more... )

I came over to my parents place around 5pm last night to find my step-mom doubled over in pain. My dad got home shortly after and decided a trip to the ER would be the best course of action. My nurse came in today with a big bag of stuff for me! She brought me a huge braid of sweet-grass (like 2-3 feet long!) as well as a BIG bag of sage and one of seeder for me! While chatting with my nurse today while she was changing my stuffing, I was telling her about how my Halloween went. I mentioned the use of my smudge and started trying to explain what it was. I had the most incredible night out tonight! My costume turned out perfect with the boa cut and sown on to the sleeves and hem of my dress, and my feather necklace and purple hair matched perfectly with my feathery purple and black wings.
