Stupid Times. If I wasn't so goddamn trendsetting and ahead-of-my-time, I could have been in this article. Hell, I could have been the focus.

Too bad Diana Kane was so neurotic. Would've been nice if she could've gotten you a free news spot on NBC or something back then.

Yeah, there's been a number of these kinds of articles. At least this one treated the concept fairly and not as "those liberal kids and their crazy immoral bacchanalia" (although I think they went too far in making it seem like sexuality is a bad thing to be avoided at all costs -- the only mention in the article being of a creepy stalker guy).

I was underwhelmed by this article (although I did insist on reading parts of it out loud at the breakfast table yesterday morning). I got the feeling that we the readers were supposed to roll our eyes and mutter, "Oh, those crazy kids!" but I wasn't all that shocked. I mean, people do things like this in college.

Really? Underwhelmed? Future finance moguls running around nekked? At least their oversized Prada bags aren't giving them back and neck problems, though maybe that's after they graduate. I grow weary of the Times.

I think this is just another product of the unnaturally warm weather.

I googled the writer. She's about our age, and a graduate of Brown. So I guess she was trying to appeal to both audiences. Or something.

I wonder if she wrote the article about the bags, too, then, because one of the quotes was from a Brown finance alum at an alumni event.
