She's not above electrocuting the girl where she stands and hoping that Faith's superpowers don't include super-insulation. Fantastic Gwen voice; Gwen character in general. It's tough with minor characters to give a strong sense of personality, but boy have you managed it here, and it's the Gwen we remember, older and more dangerous still.
Also, and I don't feel like I can stress this enough, they are totally fine with me maiming people." Great Faith voice too - enjoying her power, threatening for fun - okay, now Faith has boundaries, but they're ones she can stretch.
Later Faith leaves with her book and a few new electrical burns that are already fading, and Gwen stretches out on her hotel bed, bruised but satisfied. And this was hot too, in a way which is very specifically Gwen/Faith - tough women who operate on a level and can take what each other can give.
Outstanding!

I can't say I really know Gwen much, or at all really, but you certainly captured me with this :)
Great stuff. Especially this line -- "See, when you get all excited over dead trees like that, that's why everyone calls you a dork behind your back,"

That was awesome! The dialogue is great -- I especially like Faith's speech about how Gwen's personal appearance is kind of undermining her international man of mystery thing -- and you did an excellent job of having the girls butt heads without either of them becoming the foil, which happens a lot when two strong-willed characters get together. Great job.

Gwen was always a minor character I liked. She had such spunk and that really shone through in your story :)
