I really need to work on my social life

I've come to the somewhat disturbing realization that my social life consists almost entirely of: going to meetings for the various groups and committees that I am involved with, talking to random people around town and on campus at tables for these groups, and when I do door to door canvassing. I can only think of one purely social engagement

Ugh. Between work and school, I haven't spoken to anyone for purely social purposes in about three weeks.

I know the feeling.

One day we will have time to not be recluses anymore-- and then we'll realize we no longer have any friends.

Hopeful and optimistic is my specialty. That's why I'm on Paxil.

Hey, at least we can still get together, drink wine, crochet, and get teary as we discuss the possibilities for community. Even if we don't have a chance to get together again until we're 78.
