I've been thinking a lot about the May 1968 revolts in Fance. Though it was quite brief, it is really inspiring that such a broad-based general revolt could happen in a modern industrialized country. Everyone should wish me a happy birthday! The day is half over and only Yahoo! has said "happy birthday" to me, and I don't think an automatic script on a website really means what it says.

Its nearly midnight and I am supposed to be getting up at 5:45 and I'm dead tired. So what am I doing? I'm sitting here reading articles about sleeping!! What am I doing? Wait, now I'm writing a LJ entry about reading articles about sleeping instead of sleeping, instead of sleeping!!

I'm going to bed before this gets anymore out of hand.

I've come to the somewhat disturbing realization that my social life consists almost entirely of: going to meetings for the various groups and committees that I am involved with, talking to random people around town and on campus at tables for these groups, and when I do door to door canvassing.
