Okay, so I was only going to use my LJ for fic updates and occasional pap, but I couldn't help myself when it came to the influence Christian Voice has had on Jerry Springer the Opera

To be honest, I never expected a huge response, anyway. Being the socialble so-and-so that I am, I hardly have the largest of friends lists ;-)
I just happened to have a bee in my bonnet yesterday about people generally expecting others to realise that their opinion is the one to have (which I won't rant about here, seeing as it involves family). I stumbled across the Jerry Springer 'revelation' at the wrong moment and it had me absorbed for the rest of the evening; so much so, that I had to get it out of my system somehow before attempting to sleep.

I know nothing of Jerry Springer the Opera.
Jerry Springer the Opera is definitely a UK thing at the moment. If anyone should ever attempt to show it in the US, I'm positive you'll hear about it ;-)

My favorite was the people who wanted to put filters on the computers at the public library because a few irresponsible patrons were using them to look at internet porn (shocking, I know!).I can imagine it now: the liberal library ( ... )
