most nights were not worthy for a camera, or me talking about on livejournal.

last night was one of the better nights in rome. i'm really starting to dig it the more i'm here. absinthe is pretty gross. it's easy making friends.
thunderstorms last night. we hung out with this guy named giovanni who is an exact replica of arian, it's strange.

the vatican yesterday was amazing. i've never seen anything like it.

okay, so, brittanie kate erin katie and i are now alone in rome staying in this pretty nice hostel. the only problem is.. it has no air conditioning. WHICH BLOWS BECAUSE IT IS OVER 100 DEGREES. anyway, so this hostel is owned by a bunch of young adults around 25 years of age. they are all very nice and foreign. we share a room with a nice irish man ( Read more... )

our home for the next week or so. then off to rome where i will reenact every scene from gladiator in the colosseum. everyone can just start calling me maximus from now until i get back.
i am looking forward to that thirteen hour plan ride.

32 hours.

the fourth of july is always a great day. it calls for good eats, outside activities, and of course booze. it's the one day out of the year [ besides superbowl ] where my dad and brother get incredibly drunk. my poor dog has to be put on tranquilizers because the fireworks make him go nuts and he jumps through windows. i love that dog is fucking ( Read more... )
