I just added some new people to my friend list and to be honest, it's very unusual for me to have this many LJ friends in many years. However, I like reading/lurking other people's journals - not just for entertainment but to learn some new things and most of the people on my friend list is cool.

Hey brothers and sisters...
Just because I’m an active member of my local Union doesn’t mean I still don’t feel alienated by my own ‘brothers’ and ‘sisters’. The thing about our non-profit local is that we are not exactly like any other Union within Ontario or even North America. Serious shit....
Every since I took the Deafhood course three weeks ago, I am way more sensitive now in regard to my identity. The reason for that is because I learned that there is a definite chance that the Deaf community will disintegrate in 100 years because of advances in the technology and medical field. I am troubled by the library
Why am I troubled with the Library that I patronize two-three times a week? Because apparently, they are running a tally on me because they said I did not return a dvd. This is completely untrue and I reported to this fact when I noticed on my account (which I check daily) that it was not "checked" when it was being returned to its rightful branch ( Read more... ) -

Mazzy Star!
I just found out Mazzy Star finally released new songs but they're only available on mp3 downloads (of which I do not have the ipod or whatever it is you use to download the music).
Does this mean cds are becoming like cassette and 8 track now?
I feel so old and lost.
