It's going to be amazing!!!! :) I did the same thing last year, got in end of August for a September start date. You'll be just fine.

Don't buy more then you need. The first day just show up with a some paper or a single notebook. Once you've been to each class once, you'll be able to evaluate what you'll need better. For example, when I took my first course from Ryerson, I bought all these nice notebooks before I started, then it turned out the prof posted really complete course notes on a web page so I didn't need to write down a thing.
