1.  I learned about weddings when I was 11, and one of the women at our family’s church had been engaged the night before.  She and several of her friends were standing around after the morning service talking about it, and it was the buzz for the afternoon it seemed.

Miah surprised me a couple of days ago by buying us matching wedding ring bands. We have been commited to each other going on 6 years. We may never get the papers to say we are married, but we are none the less.

for me, it was the point when I realized I am willing to move to other states leaving behind family and friends (the first time we moved from Arizona).

I always called him my hubby, but it really hit me at that time that this was a person I would change my life for

For now, I'm comfortable calling Tom my "partner". It feels more like what we have -- a partnership.
