I got my first ever warning on TWoP today. I've been posting on the boards since December '05 and I've never gotten a warning. And of course it would come in the VM media thread in a post about Rob Thomas. Someone posted this

You've just added to my reasons why I mainly just read TWoP and am scared to actually post very often!

As far as AI goes, I loved Melinda, Jordin, and Blake. They're my three favorites anyway and I liked them all tonight. I actually did think Jordin got a tiny bit shouty, but overall I'd consider her probably the most talented female contestant on the show since Kelly Clarkson, at least in terms of the sheer power and unbelievable BEAUTY of her voice.

They're my 3 favorites, too. And I know Jordin can be very shouty and that she wasn't perfect, but some of them over there are acting like she was complete garbage.

Sars warned me for bitching out people that just bitch and complain, but realistically, it gets old after a while! Sure people have a 'right' to be negative, just like they have a 'right' to be assholes, but that doesn't mean I want to constantly listen to assholes anymore than I want to constantly listen to negative people. I just don't get some people because there are plenty of shows that I've loved that I've stopped watching with bitching, complaining about it everywhere..if people have already decided that 'RT is evil' and 'the last 5 episodes will suck' and so will VM's S4, if its renewed, then why are they wasting their time? I just don't understand because if I didn't like a show I used to love, I can think about 100 better uses for my time than just bitching about the show, it's creator or its future...maybe that's just me though!

I don't get it either. If I start disliking a show, the last thing I'd do is waste time talking about it. Just when it starts to die down a bit over there, it starts up again. And you know whenever that interview comes out, they'll be picking apart every single thing he says to find something wrong with it. I just don't see why they would bother.

Luckily, it's just a weird few, but they are a pesky and annoying bunch of gloom and doom sayers...they're worse than Eeyore!

I've been warned twice by sars, once by CB. Heh. And yet I keep going back. I'm a glutton for punishment or something. I'm glad you said what you said, I wanted to say, but since I got my 3rd warn the other day I've been walking a thin line.

Oh please don't leave TWoP forever as that's "how we met"! (STUDIO AUDIENCE: Awww!) But I can understand being cautious after being warned (which you shouldn't have been); I know that VM is one of their busiest forums over there.

AI: I thought Jordin was awesome on the second half, but the first half she seemed to have some trouble with the big notes; when you listen up to mp3, she really struggles on the word "wind". She was definitely in the top half tonight, though.

Maybe I'll just stick to the DH and the soap boards. They don't seem nearly as crazy as the VM/AI boards.

I haven't listened to the mp3 yet, but I know she wasn't perfect, but some of them are acting like it was the most horrible performance ever. But I should be used to those kind of statements from TWoP since they love to thrive on negativity there.
