All along I had thought that Septmeber 3, 2004 was this day that changed the course of my life forever. People are as temporary as fresh fruit. I mean I have so many awesome people in my life who care about me and whom I love but everyone's time is so temporary when it comes to me.

It's been 3 whole years.

I am entering the longest time I have ever spent in my life as a single person, wait let's say adult, and the thing is, I love it. I can pick my nose if I want. I can leave the bar or a friends house if it is boring or stay longer if I am having fun. I do my own laundry and cook food that I like, listen to Billy Joel loud and sing.. Work is going great. I am really in love with my job. Erin and I went out tonight to Kareoke. I could only take so much of that market. I have never changed from the person I was years ago. Two important things in life are:
Happiness and health.
I have been single for 9 whole months. Wozzers.

Love is not perfect. People are not perfect. And even knowing what drove them apart, they still went forward and tried it again. It makes me wonder what it would be like if we all had that chance.
