But there's someone up there now. Kage can smell the cigarette smoke wafting down.

Curious, he starts climbing the ladder. He pops his head up and... Smiles.]

[Kage just grunts at Hound calling him 'old man', and climbs the rest of the way into the treehouse. He sits at the edge of the hole, legs dangling down. ]

... You still exist. Know what that means? Means th'first you lived. Means I did my job.

[Kage smiles.

A real smile.

He's honestly glad. All the pain he put Chase through was worth it, then, if the stupid brat survived.]
