I agree, it is totally ridiculous. I went to bed wet, straight out of a cold (or as cold as my water will get right now) shower, and slept completely without bedsheets. And was STILL too hot all night.
I pretty much did the same thing. I went to bed wet, one light sheet. I wet down Dusty with the shower because he was so hot and miserable, then soaked a towel and put it in front of the fan on the end of the bed for the cat to lie on.
Had two fans going in the bedroom for the dogs, and wet them down too, and put ice packs in their beds.
Poor guys. I feel SO bad for the animals right now. Whoo.
I think the summer weather deities got confused this month - your weather sounds more like what is normal for us here in the Great Plains states! While we've had days of grey and rainy and stormy and very cool temps for us, highs in the mid-80s and 70s! Usually we are lucky if we get LOWS in the 80s. Madness!
Also, corgi pool is too cute and they know it. I must remember to -not- show my BF this. He's really excited that I love dogs and cats and would very much allow pets in our shared living space when we get to that point.
