First of all, Zack made a dessert for thorne_scratch. Now for today's ramble!

I spent lunch today with our student worker. We went out for sushi (there's a couple of good sushi places in Junon), and on the walk there we talked.

I imagine the other person naked.

Somehow my higher faculties hit a wall in a screaming wreck when I do that.

And then Zack starts to try to talk, and oh god, Rissi; we have to move again.

Okay, I'll own up to one thing I do: I cheat and use sympathy.... "you look like you've had a long day"... "Wow, at that stuff you're carrying must weigh a ton!"... "Could that have been any more frustrating?"

People love to talk about themselves and to vent. I use that as the foot in the door. I also make myself really *look* at them, and not do that sliding-glance thing that I seem to prefer.
