So, the three peaks.

Before I start let me say that yes, I did fail. We managed two of the three. On the other hand I’m still massively proud of what I did, utterly loved every moment and am already making plans to go for it again.

So, a bit of a round up of what happened:

Longer reply now I am not on my phone: Getting up and trying the first bloody one is a WIN, Getting down & up the next was also a massive Win and I think you were all terribly responsible at looking at each other and being sensible facing the third :) So I would say 2 wins & a pass rather than any fail at all!

Well done, mate. It's a hell of a thing even if you only managed the two.

Slightly intimidated by this now. :) I guess it's one thing to think about it, another to read the experiences of someone who's actually done it!

It's very doable, beleive me. I think the bigest thing is confidence coming down. It sounds weird but that's where you lose time.

Geesh mister, well done! :D I'm surprised that you started out on the morning rather than stopping there overnight, but you'll know for when you try again next year :) There is talk of me doing Ben Nevis with some friends at some point within the next year or so. It would be a huge achievement for me to even manage just that one, considering how unfit i've been for so many years, but for you to of achieved 2 of the peaks in such a short space of time is amazing. You should be very proud of yourself, well done!

Go for it. And enjoy the scenery! With the 24 hour challange it's all about time, but if you're just going for the one then I think it would be great. It's a stunning place, it really is.

One bit of advice: Don't hang around at the top. It's cold and damp. Get there, take your photos, walk down a but *then* chill out!
