Found out I have 10 days holiday to take before the end of the year. Not going to happen, but I've asked for 13th - 18th December off... so if any Holmesians want to do something Christmas-y in London *puppy eyes* -
Almost Halloween!
I was a bit bored between shows the other day and we have a spooky looking air-conditioning service room thingy under the spot box. I had my camera on me so I decided to take a few pictures, annoyingly the battery died so I didn't get to do as many as I would have liked but I had enough to play around with.

A pineapple, a pineapple...
Last night I had a dream where a pineapple burst out of someone's chest on the tube and then did a tap dance routine, complete with top-hat and cane. It was kinda awesome. -
Zombie vampires?
Can a zombie be a vampire or a vampire be a zombie? I don't know why I started thinking about this but it's starting to become a complex issue; if a zombie bites a vampire does the vampire remain a vampire or become just another zombie? And what about the zombie? Would the zombie become a vampire?
And would that make you a Vambie or a Zompire? -

Post-redundency panic averted, I got a job on 'Wizard of Oz'. I start on the 9th August. Probably the scariest interview/audition I've ever done, presented with a 4kw followspot with no size markings or sights and told to pick up a mark on the stage in a pin spot...meep. Holmes Picnic
For those of you on my flist who are lucky enough to be going to the Holmes picnic, does anyone want a ticket to see 'Lend Me a Tenor'? If you let me know ASAP I can get you cheap ticket (although to be honset just turn up - we're never sold :P). It's very, very funny and silly, and has great songs. I'm alive!
I made it through my four overnight calls at the Opera House with minimal blood loss and sleep deprivation. Used the money I earned doing that to buy new tools and replace some of my old ones, new shiny stuff coming on Tuesday! *dance*. I've also made steps towards sorting out my first Steampunk costume, managed to get a WW2 dispatch riders jacket ( Read more... )
