grin. I'm so sorry I left you hanging! It felt like the right place to break it off. But yes, shoes did definitely drop, good ones and bad ones. It ended up being all I hoped--ok, not all I hoped--and all I feared. More of the story will come out, either here in LJ Idol or in something else, but the story will be told. It lasted about six and a half years till he just left my life one day about 7 months ago, without a word or explanation or farewell. But, ah, the moments of those other sahoes dropping ... I loved your response to it!
