No news is ok news, right? :) Still here, still preggo. I have an U/S today to see if cricket is still too big. I'm measuring at 41 weeks and if he's too big they're going to want to push a c-section or induction at the very least. So, we shall see. I'm trying not to worry about it. Avoid the c-section!!!! Little people have big babies all the time. Don't make the mistake like I did and allow them to harm your body by performing an unnecessary c-section. If he is healthy and doing well, there is no reason why they should cut you.

I thought you had an emergency c-section because Petra's cord was around her neck and it was an emergency because she was in distress?

Nope. You must have me confused with someone else. (Maybe my friend Brigette? She is one of two people I know of in recent times (the other being Shenae) who've had legitimate emergency c-sections.) I wasn't dialating fast enough. If you don't fit their time schedule, they cut you. It is a very common excuse doctors use to perform unnecessary c-sections. Even though her heart rate was great the entire time, they also used the excuse that she wasn't moving during the contractions. It ended up being because she was sleeping, as we all learned when they pulled her out my stomach and she was sound asleep. She always sleeping during that time of day and had little to no activity during the afternoon hours.

Anyway, that's great that everything sounds good so far, and you've still got just under a week until the due date, so it's great that you're not worried yet :) Good luck with everything!!! (ps, I'm around if you need me)
