So yesterday while walking with Vicky in Bell's Corners I saw an Ottawa Police cop car. But it was not a COP car really, because it had two big "NOT IN SERVICE" magnet signs on either side of the door and a black cover bag around the cherry lights.

So I finally got a call back, so here's to hoping I will get a new, better paying, less allergenic, closer to home job, finaaally. So I have removed my Facebook account as to avoid it taking over my life. I found myself needlessly obsessing over the lives of people I don't particularly care about anymore, or possibly ever did. I managed to never get to the Facebook mobile level, which I am rather proud of, but I still checked it with the same regularity as e-mail, if not more ( Read more... )

So I'm mostly all moved into my new place. Still need to get my curtains up, and get some clothes hangers from work, but I'm pretty settled. I like this neighborhood. Lots of big houses and old trees. And the the canal is a block away ( Read more... )
