i've never been to any of thes places, but even just after (ahem) reading stuff about ibiza, it doesn't seem too tantalizing. actually, it seems like all three of the balearic islands are just party places, but again, i've never visited. i'd jump at the chance to go to any of the other places you listed, though. practically speaking, i'd say go to wherever the plane/train fare would be the cheapest. but for me, if money weren't an object, it'd be a toss-up between lisbon and athens.

yes, this is a difficult choice. i am with you and have been looking for the cheapest flights to tip the scales in favor of my holiday spot.

and yes, i have also heard that Ibiza is a "party spot" so perhaps i should stay away. god knows the cost of the ticket and hotel or accomodations alone will break me so i shouldnt be spending any of my money on drinking or drugs or (god forbid) cover charges for stupid clubs.

this is hard because i want to be "practical" but i also want to stay in a hotel so i dont have to share a room or a shower with people (and they really arent too much more expensive than hostels) and staying in a hotel is really not practical when a hostel can be found.

i am really curious about lisbon and stockholm, i have never been.
i have been to rome and it is great, tons of stuff to see, good food, very touristy at all times though.
i went through nice on a train and it was very scenic, expensive though ( i heard).
moscow=cold!

and you should come back to vienna.

i am coming back to vienna as soon as i can...i love that city and i love you and hubby.

as far as vacation time...ideally i would go to lisbon or athens but realistically i should go to rome because, so far, its cheapest to get there.
