I am really just absolutely shocked by the callousness of people whom I know and (once) considered my friends.  I honestly think this must be just one of those times of my life where the gods believe that I need to just realize how shitty people are to each other, but really I expected way more from people I cared about.  The most recent behavior ( Read more... )

 I have divorced myself from the Heights (and all the shit that happened up here) and am moving to Brooklyn.  I am throwing out almost all my belongings.  I am not taking the emotional/physical baggage that I associate with this experience here with me to my future home.

I am moving officially!!!  I gave my roommates the ol' 30 day heave ho (I heaved-ho'd myself off this broken vessel of a share).  I am excited about living somewhere new and not having to be way up in Washington Heights anymore.

I am so happy about this.  :)

Alrighty, I guess I should start with the fact that I did a full 90 minute Bikram (HOT!) yoga session this weekend and loved it!  That being said, I think the stretching did something to the old surgery I had and I'm going to have to seek some medical advice about this before I start going several times a week.  But I really did enjoy it!

 I spoke to someone today who said something that depressed me.    He said that I was fooling myself to believe that I was actually involved in theater up here.  He basically told me that I was a receptionist with a masters degree in theater and nearly 50k worth of debt and that was how people framed me ( Read more... )

I have been feeling really inadequate lately. I think it is due to the postpartum depression and having a job that, although well paying and nice, is hardly fulfilling me emotionally or intellectually.
