Being home is hard. I don't mind G-town as much as I used to (because I can avoid everyone who made my life a living hell in high school, except for those now stuck in supermarket jobs [and there are a lot of those]) but I get very downtrodden. I'm away from my beloved school, most of my friends, and everything that Noho has that G-town does not. ( Read more... )

Definitely could always be worse. I've learned that too, but it doesn't make it less hard to get through. As for the car, I've always had good luck on craigslist. I mean, you may not get the best car ever, but if you find a gem - it'll last you a little while. If that's what you're looking for.

The good thing is you can get your sanity back on Livejournal and Facebook by talking to all of use out here in on-line land. Not the same as face to face people, but a bolt hole in a storm I hope!! Home for the holiday? When do you get to go back>

Definitely. A lot of my very close friends live thousands of miles away so online is the best we can do sometimes. I'm back now, thankfully!
