Summer Reading List
I tend to respond to goals better when there is a list involved. I have recently started going to the supermarket armed with a list and find myself spending less money and eating better too! Happy New Year
Looking back on my New Year entry for 2009 I am disappointed to see I accomplished few of the goals I set for myself. I resolve to get to them this year. Summer seems to be ending...
I had no 'life' marker for the beginning or the end of summer. My semester ended back in April and I didn't have my usual summer camp job so summer never really had an official start date for me. I'm not always happy with the direction of my life...
I feel like I've accomplished a lot and a little this summer. I took two certification exams (and found out I passed the first, still waiting on the second score), I completed my one week literacy class which brings me to six credit hours away from completing my masters of library science. I hate tests!
I took my first certification exam today. For the first time ever, I took three practice exams before the actual exam. The LAST is supposed to measure your knowledge of the Libral Arts and Sciences, and you would be shocked how simple it is to forgot how to add/subtract/multiply/divide fractions, decimals and percents. Summer begins...
So I'm 25 now. I just had my big birthday this past weekend. This month absolutely flew by. I know I say that about a lot of months but this one honestly did. I can't believe that it's ending in 10 days or so. June really symbolizes the start of summer for me, and this summer is bound to have it's depressing moments since I won't be back at Usdan. The end of the semester: graduate school edition!
There is one week left for me to complete all my assignments before this semester is officially over. Thankfully I am done with the work for two classes. I have two other classes that I will be working incessantly on, probably until the last hour before everything is due. That is mainly my fault. Reflections on my reflections
Does everyone think that their own life is incredibly interesting and that of course everyone in the world would want to know about it? Sometimes I feel like I have so many stories to tell and they are, of course, wildly entertaining and insightful. Just have to vent...
I am normally not anti-winter. I went to school in Buffalo and don't particularly hate snow at all; in fact often I find snow quite appealing, attractive and very peaceful.
